The purpose of this contract is to protect all parties: Purchaser, seller, and cat or kitten.If there are any problems, questions, concerns or issues that you need help with, please contact us. We want the adoptive parent(s) and/or family to be completely happy with the new cat or kitten and the transition to the new home. Transitioning is easy for some kittens but more difficult for others and kittens/cats handle stress in various ways. If there are any issues, please call, we will provide you with all the help that we can to make this time easier for the new owners and the kitten(s)/cat(s).
Terms of the Contract
1. Deposit: A deposit of $400.00 USD is required for the purchase of each cat/kitten. Should the buyer after having paid the deposit decide against purchasing the kitten, for any reason, he or she will forfeit the deposit. In some circumstances the deposit can be moved toward purchasing the other kitten (subject of a new written agreement between the buyer and the seller). The kitten or cat will be temporarily reserved for seven days after the seller emailed the contract to the buyer. If the deposit and signed contract are not received within seven calendar days, the temporary reservation will cease and the contract will be null and void.
2. Method of payment Deposit. The purchaser shall Make the deposit called for under his contract via PayPal(davidihaim@yahoo.com), Zelle (connected to my cellphone 727-254-8393) or a bank transfer. The payment should be made in USD. Any transaction fees made for transferring money would be the responsibility of the buyer to pay in addition to the transferred money. By paying this deposit, the buyer indicates that he/she understands and agrees to abide by the terms stated in this contract.
3. Full payment for the cat must be provided in the form of cash or Zelle transfer on the day of delivery of the cat/kitten(s).
4. Conditional: In the case that the seller agrees to transport the cat/kitten(s) to the buyer, all transport fees will be added to the cost of the transaction(s).
5. The seller will provide the purchaser with vaccination records, dewormed and flea treatment applied (advocate or revolution). The seller guarantees the kitten/cat(s) to be in good health at the time of purchase for 5 calendar days. It will be the responsibility of the purchaser to have the kitten/cat(s) examined by a Veterinarian within 5 calendar days. Within those 5 days, if found to be seriously medically deficient, the seller will take the kitten/cat(s) back and fully refund the payments including the initial deposit under the following conditions: The seller is provided with proper documentation from a licensed veterinarian, stating the medical issue and that the cat is seriously medically deficient; a second examination by a veterinarian of the seller’s choice corroborates these claims. This cat/kitten(s) is not guaranteed any nuisance disease/trauma/injuries which might happen within 5 days. After the 5 days, the seller can no longer guarantee the cat’s health, except for birth defects.
6. The seller guarantees the cat against lethal or congenital defects for 12 months following the date of purchase. If during these 12 months the cat should die or have to be destroyed due to genetic or congenital defect, the seller will replace the cat/kitten with a cat/kitten at the seller’s earliest convenience, should the following conditions be met: The purchaser provides the seller with a necropsy by a licensed impartial Veterinary Pathologist and US-based genetic lab report, at the purchaser’s expense, showing that the cause of death is unquestionably a genetic or congenital defect. Seller assumes no responsibility or liability for any veterinary care for this cat/kitten after the purchaser takes possession of the said cat/kitten(s). Under no circumstances will the seller be responsible for any veterinary bills incurred by the purchaser.
7. The cat/Kitten(s) is being unuttered with no breeding rights but with the show rights. The buyer is obligated to neuter/spay the cat/kitten(s) before 11-month age. The Breeder Slip (TICA Registration paperwork) will be provided upon proof of spaying/neutering.
